👾 MY EXPERTISE 👾
3+ years designing innovative garments and fabric print by hand, on AI/PS & in CLO3D. This includes technical design and R&D (brief, moodboard, go-to-market strategy...) In addition, I have my own very successful digital fashion collection on Dress X called Galactic Geisha. The projects I usually take on are very disruptive and involve things like wearable technology, sustainability, 3D printing, biomaterials, virtual clothing etc.
6+ years of expertise in WEB DESIGN by building & redesigning websites in Wordpress, Squarespace, Shopify, and other similar platforms for small businesses. I also know front-end development after working for 3 years as a software engineer at a biotech startup in an agile environment. Most of my UX/UI knowledge comes from designing apps for startups. In addition, I am very well-acquainted with Shopify since I was the developer, copywriter, and marketing expert for an LED jewelry line.
10+ years of experience WRITING website & social media copy, articles, and screenplays. In addition, I have worked as a reporter and script developer and am also a published poet. Finally, my 8+ years of CREATIVE DIRECTION comes from running a small film production company and project/account managing huge ad campaigns with CNN, Telemundo & Spotify for the biotech startup I used to work for.
5+ years in the BRANDING/MARKETING space helping brands scale their business. I study target audiences very thoroughly by conducting extensive research both on the potential buyers and the competition. In addition, my background in film and creative directing allows me to create some killer content and assets. The latter combined with my research, gives brands a look, voice, and feel that both excite and create trust in their customers so they keep coming back.
Having dealt with the difficulties of being a co-founder both for a tourism tech startup and a film production house, I am able to take on many hats and conduct extensive research so as to predict any future roadblocks and design a product or strategy that is full-proof. I understand how to balance user with stakeholder needs by empathizing with both. In addition, being an out-of-the-box thinker, I am usually able to come up with innovative solutions and strategies.
I like to build long-term relationships with my clients and the more edgy and unique your business, the better.
Trends are great but research is better. For example, I refuse to put an 8pt font-size copy on your website or your Brand Book just because it's hip when your company is catered towards seniors who tend to be visually impaired. User needs win over "trends" that are ever-changing.
